Men all around the world look to supplements for enhancements to their muscle building, strength gains, and athletic performance. Sex is no different. There are countless sexual health supplements available, so it can be a daunting task to decide which one is best for your situation. Today we’re going to be looking specifically at semen volume supplements. These supplements do a number of things, including increasing semen volume, increasing orgasm intensity, and improving ejaculations.

We’re looking for a few important things in a semen volume supplement. The first thing is the safety of the ingredients. We need to be certain that there’s nothing harmful in the supplement. Next, we want to be sure that the supplement is effective. Otherwise what’s the point if it doesn’t actually work? Lastly, we can consider the price and convenience of the product. If two products are the same or similar, then price and convenience come into play.

Semenax Review

Semenax is an older product, but remains somewhat popular online. Let’s see what Semenax has to offer.

Semenax Ingredients Review

The Semenax ingredients are a mix of good, bad, and useless. First the good. Semenax contains 30mg Zinc, which is one of the most important nutrients for building healthy semen and sperm. Semenax also contains 250mg L-Arginine, which is an important amino acid for stimulating blood flow, among other things.

Now the bad and useless. Aside from those two ingredients, most of the other 18 ingredients in Semenax are either pointless, or out of place in this supplement. For example Maca is a legitimate supplement for sexual health, but doesn’t do anything specifically for semen volume or ejaculation. The list goes on. Pine Bark, Catuaba, Sarsaparilla, Bueta Superba, and the rest of the Semenax ingredients are not known to do anything positive for semen volume, testicular health, or other things related to ejaculation. While they might not be outright harmful, it’s always best to have a reason for taking the supplements and nutrients you consume. The vast majority of what’s in Semenax cannot be scientifically defended.

Load Boost Review

Load Boost has been a popular supplement online for years now. Generally regarded as one of the best, let’s see what’s in Load Boost.

Load Boost Ingredients Review

Load Boost stays with the effective nutrients, containing just 6 essential ingredients. As we saw above, you would rather have more of the nutrients that work best, rather than a bunch of seemingly random ingredients.

Load Boost contains 30mg Zinc and 400mg L-Arginine. Both great ingredients that we covered above. Next, Load Boost contains 1200mg Lecithin, which plays a role in creating secretions from the body. Being that semen is a mucus-like liquid substance, Lecithin assists in the creation of healthy semen.

250mg of Pygeum is found in Load Boost, which is possibly the most important of the bunch. Pygeum has many uses related to semen and the prostate. An added bonus of Pygeum is its role in fighting against Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), an enlargement of the prostate, which can lead to prostate issues including prostate cancer.

One interesting ingredient that sets Load Boost apart is Bromelain, or Pineapple Extract. The addition of Bromelain gives your semen production systems the natural sugars it needs to give your semen a sweeter taste, as well as giving you the building blocks you need to more effectively make healthy semen and sperm.

Lastly, Load Boost contains 4mg Copper, which is essential for any supplement containing this much Zinc (30mg). Too much Zinc can cause a Copper deficiency, which can cause some minor and major issues, including numbness, flu-like symptoms, and cause susceptibility to infection, among other things. The solution is to take a Copper supplement to balance the Zinc supplement. Many other supplements like multi-vitamins also contain Zinc, so if you’re also taking a semen volume enhancement supplements it’s important to make sure your body has enough Copper as well.

Popstar Labs Review

Popstar Labs is a new supplement that lacks the history and following of the other two. That being said, let’s see if Popstar is worth it.

Popstar Labs Ingredients Review

First on the list for Popstar is Zinc. As stated before, Zinc is great. Popstar offers 50mg Zinc. Unfortunately Popstar does not contain Copper, which is necessary to ensure that much Zinc (the recommended daily dose of Zinc is about 10mg) doesn’t cause a Copper shortage, and all of the horrible health issues that come along with it.

Popstar contains 1200mg Lecithin, which is right around what you want for a daily dose. Popstar also has 800mg L-Arginine, which is found in Semenax and Load Boost as well. L-Arginine is essential to any semen volume supplement. On that same note, Popstar also contains 200mg Pygeum, another essential nutrient for semen volume and ejaculation enhancement.

Popstar has 400mg Bromelain as well, which is great for semen taste, and overall semen and sperm quality. We love to see this addition of Bromelain. Lastly, Popstar has 190mg Fructooligosaccharides, a synthetic sugar, which is not necessary for building semen and sperm when your body already contains plenty of the building blocks for semen and sperm that are found in natural foods. Like most artificial sweet/sugars, it’s not needed and contains potential health risks of its own.

Semenax, Load Boost, and Popstar compared

Now that we’ve taken a look at each of the three supplements, let’s see how they compare to each other.

The most obvious takeaway is as far as essential semen volume and ejaculate enhancement ingredients goes, Semenax is missing too much when compared to Load Boost and Popstar.

Final Top 3 Semen Volume Supplement Rankings

Now that we’ve compared the three, here are the final standings.

#1 Load Boost

Load Boost checks all the boxes when it comes to ingredients. The most important thing is Load Boost gives you all the essential nutrients you need for increasing semen volume and orgasm intensity, while making sure not to include anything dangerous or unnecessary. Aside from containing all the essential nutrients, Load Boost is also the least expensive option of the three, at $49.95. There are also discounts available online. Possibly the only downside of Load Boost is it’s not available in stores, and can only be purchased online on the Vitaliboost website.

#2 Popstar Labs

Popstar is at #2, but it’s not terribly close to Load Boost. While Popstar does contain some great ingredients in Pygeum, Lecithin, and L-Arginine, it also contains a few unnecessary ingredients. The other thing that drops Popstar down in the rankings is the fact that it contains more Zinc than recommended, while not having any Copper to counter the amount of Zinc. As for price, Popstar is more expensive ($49.99) than Load Boost despite being an inferior product. Popstar is not the worst choice, but also not the best.

#3 Semenax

Semenax is a distant #3, mostly due to the unnecessary ingredients. Semenax is missing a few crucial ingredients, but the additions of so many bad ingredients drop Semenax down in the rankings. Given than Semenax is the most expensive of the three products, we would not recommend Semenax for semen volume or orgasm intensity. It’s not the worst product we’ve seen, but you can certainly do better.

Honorable Mention: Ball Refill

Ball Refill is most comparable to Semenax. The ingredients are similar, and don’t stand out on their own when compared to these top three. Ball Refill doesn’t offer anything special in ingredients or pricing. It’s not a bad product, but the top 3 here are all better choices.
